2. Description of Service

LazyLips is a dictation app for macOS. You speak, and LazyLips turns it into text in whatever app you're using, formatted to the tone you choose.

3. Account Registration

To use LazyLips, you need an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your credentials secure
• Tell us immediately about any unauthorized access
• Take responsibility for everything that happens under your account

4. Subscriptions & Billing

We offer free and paid subscription plans, billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices and features can change with notice, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account — upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you're a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because LazyLips is a digital service that begins immediately, starting a paid plan means you ask us to begin at once, and you lose this right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. This doesn't affect your other mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use LazyLips for anything illegal
• Attempt to circumvent account, licensing, or billing controls
• Dictate or process content you don't have the right to process
• Abuse the service in a way that harms us or other users
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app itself
• Reverse engineer or extract the app's source code

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

LazyLips and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of everything you dictate and the text LazyLips produces for you — by using the app, you grant us a limited license to process that content only as needed to provide the service.

7. Third-Party Services

LazyLips relies on trusted third-party providers, such as Stripe for payments, to deliver the service. Your use of those providers is also governed by their own terms; we aren't responsible for their availability or practices.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance happens occasionally, with advance notice where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LazyLips is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; for free-plan users, the cap is €50.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

LazyLips is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties, express or implied, and no guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LazyLips and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms; your right to use the service stops right away. Provisions that should survive termination — like ownership, warranty disclaimers, and liability limits — will survive.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes are communicated by email or through the app; continuing to use LazyLips after a change means you accept them.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Disputes are brought before the courts competent for the place where the operator is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that entitle you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

15. Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and LazyLips. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive it.
